sicky sick

Since last sunday i have had the priviladge of getting influenza this year. I woke up on sunday morning with my head pounding and feeling the urge to vomit. I figured it was from the night before which i spent at carmens playing cards and had a cpl of drinks. I was drinking cheerleader beer which never gives me a hangover and i hadn't drank much at all. So sunday i was suprised. So while im puking kelly is in the ER because she is getting more sick and has been for 3 weeks .. first it was acid reflux then a sinus infection then a short span of the 24 hr flu then it was bronchitis on sunday. Later on sunday i felt more crappy. Monday comes and i cant even hold my paperback book in my hand because of shooting pains in my hands. I go to work that night and develop a cough i thought it was because the windchill was -47. I get home and go to bed and wake up coughing so violently and felt hotter then hell. I agree to go in to the doctor when i cant get up to go to the bathroom. got that lovely influenza test where they shoot saline down your nose and throat and suck it up with a hose. SICK ill never do that again. The test came back negative the doctor said even tho it came back negative she was sure that kelly and i both had influenza. the nurse said my temp was the highest for that day. YAY also found out that winter has been kind enough to add 15lbs to me. So ive been off work since tuesday morning. Cant say its been real fun though. hopefully i feel better later tonight so i can go back in. pto doesn't pay as well as regular worked hrs speacially with weekend pay.
